I had the pleasure of being invited to the re-launch of
Christopher Fischer’s Soho store at 80 Wooster Street. Not only is the space a
visual feast, it was a former art den for cultural icons including Andy Warhol, Yoko Ono, and John Lennon.

The building’s rich background is detailed in the book Illegal Living, which Christopher so kindly gifted to me. He said “honoring the location’s history was particularly important” to him as evidenced in the well-lived hardwood floors.
