For me, New York Fashion Week feels like a mix of Christmas and the first day of school. There's an abundance of creativity which brings me immense joy and inspiration. Then there's the superficiality (the pressure to wear the perfect outfit, go to the coolest shows) etc. Either way, I've learned to appreciate both aspects.
Two summers ago, I did a rigorous internship with Fashion GPS and was on hand to help all the fabulous people get into their shows, assist backstage, and oversee with the GPS technology. Now that I'm actually being invited, it feels so cool to come full circle. (Hard work pays off!) I'll be sharing as much as I can with you through the lense of my iPhone...enjoy!

Phillip Lim held a shindig celebrating his new collection for Target at Spring Studios downtown. The panoramic wall behind me was interactive and featured a global set of trendsetters wearing the collection in their hometowns. Additionally, Jessica Alba, Solange, and Maria Sharapova were on hand to wearing their favorite pieces.
Rebecca Minkoff's show was electric. Janelle Monae rocked the house with her band and model Lindsay Wixon stole the show!
