I WHO HAVE ARRIVED IN HEAVEN

I couldn't pass at the opportunity to submerge myself in the dotted depths of legendary artist, Yayoi Kusama's latest exhibit 'I Who Have Arrived in Heaven'.

The exhibit, located at the David Zwirner gallery, was a full-body experience. The highlight of which was a polka-dot prison (no shoes or bags allowed), in which viewers were encompassed in the eccentric mind of Kusama. A longtime obsession with dots, derived from childhood hallucinations, has become Kusama's trademark. Her authenticity is overwhelming and for a good 20 minutes, I happily stepped away from real life.
